Avemco Insurance Company is proud to offer its Direct Approach
policy to aircraft owners. This policy is designed to focus on
inclusions not exclusions. And you can only obtain this policy
by contacting Avemco directly because we are the only insurance
company that works directly with you.

GENERAL POLICY BENEFITS

•	Avemco's policy pays for your legal defense, up to $5,000, if an FAA pilot certificate enforcement or civil penalty action is brought against you as a result of a covered accident or loss.
•	If you sell your aircraft, Avemco’s Extended Sales coverage provides important protection for up to one year following the date of sale. This coverage includes bodily injury and property damage liability for claims that may arise from your ownership, maintenance or use during the period that the aircraft was insured with us.
•	Rental of your aircraft to named pilots is permitted (it will not be considered a commercial operation).
•	Medical expense coverage, if purchased, includes payment of $100 each day you're hospitalized, up to the policy limits, in addition to your medical bills.
•	Avemco's policy does away with "blanket" FAR exclusions.
•	Avemco's policy is written in an "easy read" format.
•	Your Avemco insurance remains valid even if your medical certificate, flight review, or annual inspection accidentally lapses (we do require them to be current at the beginning of your policy and at each renewal).
•	We insure pilots regardless of age who meet general underwriting requirements.
•	We give credits for "claim-free" experience.

AIRCRAFT DAMAGE (HULL) COVERAGE

•	We base total loss payment on the insured value, not a "Blue Book" or actual cash value.
•	A hull premium discount applies if your aircraft is kept in a hangar.
•	Disappearing deductible for loss due to fire, lightning, explosion, or a total loss. (Reduced out of pocket expense.)
•	If you've purchased in-flight hull coverage, we pay to retrieve your aircraft after an off-airport landing, even if your aircraft isn't damaged.

AIRCRAFT LIABILITY COVERAGE

•	Built-in Non-Owned liability benefits include coverage for damage to non-owned aircraft to the extent of the hull coverage you purchase for your aircraft.
•	When you add or replace aircraft, up to 30 days coverage is automatically provided, as long as the replacement aircraft meets the definition of "insured aircraft" for the policy.
•	$25,000 liability coverage is provided for damage to rented or leased hangars.
•	We pay up to $1,000 for damage to passengers' personal effects.
•	Coverage is provided for liability arising out of the use of the area which you rent to park, tie-down or store your aircraft.
•	Avemco can include your spouse as an approved named pilot without additional charge on most aircraft.
•	Avemco offers fleet discounts if we insure more than one aircraft under the same policy.
